She paid attention to every detail for songs, like asking if we wanted an abbreviated version of Simple Man for the mother-son dance. Both of us knew immediately she was the DJ for us. She was so thorough, communicated at any time we needed, answered all of our questions, and helped us have some cool up lighting and smoke last minute to our reception. 20/10 would make any celebration incredible.”

“One of my best friends turned 30 a couple weeks ago. He is cooped up in a NYC apartment and we decided to hire DJ Jess to help us throw a Zoom dance party in his honor. Jess set up the technology, we invited our friends and sent her some song recommendations, and we all danced the night away in our apartments while watching and interacting with each other over zoom.
I'm not lying when I say this is honestly the most fun that my fiance and I have had in a long time, including before social distancing began. Many of my friends texted me saying the same thing! DJ Jess did an amazing job incorporating our song recommendations into a well curated evening of danceable music. She was a lot of fun to interact with during the evening, she helped us all feel comfortable as we danced at home, and she helped keep the energy level high.

“Jess was better than any DJ we could’ve imagined! We were a Covid couple and as soon as things started getting bad in March-April of 2020 Jess checked in on us to see how we were doing. She also was extremely reassuring that no matter what happened, she would be there for us! When we ultimately had to postpone, Jess moved to our new date without any problems or any additional fees! When it got closer to our wedding, we worked with Jess through an app and got to start to think through everything we needed from a music and timeline perspective. During our final meeting, it was so exciting to get to talk through everything and Jess made it so stress free! We walked away with only a few takeaways that we worked through easily.
My favorite part of this meeting was Jess seemed like a long time friend!
We became Facebook friends a few months earlier and Jess took the time to get to know us through social media and could chat about our family, our pets, and big life events! During our actual day, Jess was so much fun! She fed off our guests so well and played the perfect set to keep things fun! Not only did she vibe with our guests, but she checked in with us multiple times to make sure we were doing well and were happy with everything! She even adjusted our timing when pictures took a little longer and kept everything flowing! We got so many compliments on how fun everything was and how great our music was. We would 10/10 recommend Jess and will be telling all of our friends planning a wedding to call Jess!!!”

“I realized right away she was the perfect fit for us. Jess made the whole process so easy for us.
She uses an app for you to list songs you want played (and songs you don’t) and allows you to answer questions about the ceremony and reception, like I said: super easy. We met with her about two weeks before the wedding and it felt like we had known her for years! Her vibe is so awesome and she makes your event feel like the most important thing in the world. She took the time to figure out our music style and created mashups of some of our favorite songs. As for our actual wedding: WOW! Our dance floor was packed the entire night because of Jess. There wasn’t a song she played that people weren’t loving. We got so many compliments because of her and she truly made our day that much better. I cannot recommend her enough. “DJ Jess was a great MC for our wedding reception, helping us flow through the introductions then cake cutting and our first dance, etc. I never felt like I had to remember what came next because I knew she was organized and had it covered.
My husband and I like a mix of country, 2000’s pop, and classic rock - Jess did a great job of including everything that we like and making it all go together nicely.
The dance floor was packed all the way till the end of the reception at 11pm! I also got a lot of comments that my uncle was crushing it on the dance floor and he “hadn’t danced like that in 30 years”. Speaks to the quality of the DJ haha! Leading up to the wedding, Jess was very responsive, knowledgeable, and helped us a lot in planning the timeline for our reception. I would definitely recommend her to DJ your wedding.”
